The Problem: I was a freelancer who needed to send an invoice. I searched "free invoice generator" and every tool had a catch. Sign up. Watermark. Limited to 3 invoices. $9/month after trial. Export as PDF only on premium. I just wanted to send a PDF invoice. That's it.

The Solution: I built my own. Took 2 hours. It worked. I used it for a year. Then I thought — maybe other freelancers have this problem too. So I made it open source, added more tools, and put it online for free.
